I’ve been spazzing too much over Korean dramas the past weekend, leading to my ignoring of everything else, including buying planners from Gmarket, or searching for Korean stationery suppliers.
I have done some research though, as I’ve been toying with the idea of getting my own domain and hosting my own WordPress.org blog, so here’s some I did into some paper-inspired WordPress themes. I’m still considering…I’m in a white-space-is-good phase and rather like the current free theme a lot.
Diary theme by Site5
The theme is free for download, but I’m not quite sure if the developer means everybody, or just their customers. It’s still very pretty, in any case.
Notepaper theme by Templatelite
The paper theme doesn’t quite come through, but I like the little touches: check out the RSS ‘stamp’ and the crumpled footer.
Paper theme by WPCharity
It looks like an old excercise book where the lines have faded off from age. The developer states it’s a child theme, any wordpress experts care to advise what a child theme is?
Japan Style theme by Good Design Web
I wish the paper was slightly more see-through to imitate the feel of rice paper (something I always associate with Japan) 🙂
My Papers theme by KarenJak
Torn Paper theme by SimplyWP
Ahh, the memories of cheaply bound foolscap pads, where it turns sticky like duct-tape-gone-bad in Singapore’s crazy humidity.
These are just some of the ones I’ve found online, there’s a lot more out there and I’m still searching for my perfect one. So what do you think? Should I go fancy and use a paper-inspired theme, or should I just stick with the current one?
